Trip Overview
The red panda and other wild species may be found at Langtang National Park. The Gosaikunda Trek is one of the most well-liked treks in Nepal throughout the fall. Syabrubesi, a Tamang settlement on the banks of the Bhote Koshi River, serves as our starting point for the hike. We will go up to the Lama Hotel, where we will spend the night. The walk will follow the Langtang River.
The next day, we’ll hike from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village, a sizable Tamang community. Kyangin Gompa is where we travel from Langtang Villages.
To adjust to the altitude, we will take a day off in Kyangin Gompa. You can choose to go to the yak cheese factory or Tserko Ri Viewpoint. Similarly, the Kyangin Gompa monastery, while adjusting to the altitude.
The Langtang Gosainkunda hike is thrilling even without Gosainkunda or the other eighteen Kundas. Trekking through Gosainkunda gives the chance to witness a typical Tamang or Sherpa community because it is a rare opportunity to learn about the Tamang way of life in this region.
A fantastic option is the Langtang Gosaikunda Trek. It connects the holy lake of Gosaikunda and the Sherpa meadows of Helambu. Along with the wooded lowlands, alpine pastures, and yak herds of Kyanjin Gompa in Langtang Valley.
Similarly, these elements affect how challenging or easy the walk will be. One of the most well-known religious tourism spots in the nation is an alpine freshwater Oligotrophic holy lake that is located in Langtang National Park. Thousands of pilgrims visit the lake every year, but Janai Purnima draws a particularly large population.
Moreover, the Gosaikunda path, which departs from the trailhead and rises slowly over terraced farms to the highlands, provides a breathtaking view of distant peaks like Manaslu (8163m) and the Tibetan plateau to the north. The trek continues to Gosaikunda and the holy lake of Gosaikunda, a tranquil mountain valley that enhances the alluring view of the distant Himalayan peaks even more. Hindus go in large numbers to the area in August during Janai Purnima to pay respects.
This walk offers the opportunity to see deep gorges, mountainous terrain, pine woods, yak pastures, and an understanding of Buddhist religious traditions. Along with enigmatic monasteries, charming communities, hillside terraces, tranquil valleys, and stunning glaciers flowing from high mountains.
Also, The trail brings us to the holy Gosainkunda. It is an alpine freshwater lake that lies at a great altitude in the Rasuwa mountains (4,380m/14,620ft).
A Langtang circuit trip is the same as the Langtang Gosainkunda trek. The Lauribina La 4610mtrs pass and the Gosainkunda Lake are on this journey. It leads to the Helambu trek region and Kathmandu.
