Frequently asked

Quick answers to the things most travellers ask before booking.

Do I need a visa to enter Nepal?

Most travellers receive a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Carry passport-size photos and USD cash for fees. eVisa is also available online.

When is the best season to trek?

Autumn (Sep–Nov) and Spring (Mar–May) are peak trekking windows. Winter is fine for low-altitude trails; monsoon suits rain-shadow regions.

How do I book a custom itinerary?

Use the "Talk to an expert" buttons across the site or open the Request a Trip form. We respond within 24 hours.

Are operators verified?

Yes. Every partner is reviewed for trekking licence, safety record and community impact before being listed.

What permits will I need?

Permits vary by region (TIMS, ACAP, Sagarmatha, restricted-area permits). Your operator arranges them; we’ll list them on each trip page.

Can I pay partially online?

Yes — most trips support partial deposit + balance on arrival. Cancellation terms appear on each trip’s booking page.
